Noam Rapoport is an eclectic media composer based in Brooklyn, New York. He has composed music for several short films and is currently scoring his first feature documentary. Noam’s recent work includes composing for the PBS American Masters episode Renegades: Judy-Lynn del Rey—The Galaxy Gal.

 

Noam earned a Master’s in Screen Scoring from NYU and a Bachelor’s in Jazz Performance from The New School. His music uses complex, raw emotions through a unique blend of acoustic instrumentation, analog synths, and found sounds, utilizing unconventional recording techniques. Drawing on his background in jazz, indie rock, and contemporary classical music, Noam crafts rich, immersive soundscapes.

He was recently selected for the 2024-2025  SCL NY Mentorship Program.
